By installing or using BlockBuddy you agree to these terms. They are written to be readable. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
BlockBuddy is an educational app about cryptocurrency. It teaches concepts, helps you spot scams, and explains the wallet messages people often get stuck on.
BlockBuddy is not:
You are responsible for your own crypto decisions. Anything you learn here should be checked against your own situation and, when material, against a qualified professional.
Crypto is a fast-moving area. We do our best to keep BlockBuddy accurate and up to date, but:
If you are unsure about a real-world action with real money, slow down and verify with the official source — the network’s docs, the protocol’s audited team, or a regulated professional.
You may create an account using Sign in with Apple or email. You are responsible for keeping access to that account safe.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through Profile → Delete my account & data. Deletion is permanent.
Don’t:
We may suspend or close accounts that misuse the app.
The current version of BlockBuddy is free. Future versions may introduce optional paid features (e.g. richer AI-powered explainers). Any such purchases will be made through Apple’s standard in-app purchase system and will be clearly described before you pay. Subscription terms (price, renewal, cancellation) will be shown on the purchase screen.
BlockBuddy uses Firebase (Google), Cloudflare, and Apple services to operate. By using the app you also agree to the relevant terms of those providers when their services touch your data.
The BlockBuddy name, logo, app, and educational content are owned by Rizgar. You get a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose. All other rights are reserved.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VULNERABILITIES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLOCKBUDDY AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF FUNDS RESULTING FROM ANY CRYPTOCURRENCY DECISION YOU MAKE BEFORE, DURING, OR AFTER USING THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE APP IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS — WHICH FOR FREE USE IS €0.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow some of these limits. Where that’s the case, the limits apply only to the extent the law permits.
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Effective date” at the top and surface a notice in the app where reasonable. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes must be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring the dispute in your home jurisdiction.
